Hi! It's really me! I don't quite know what the norms are for using this thing. I had an LJ but didn't use it very much. My mate used it a lot more and writes brilliant witty things. Some of my friends use it as a journal.

Anyhow, I live in Somerville. I run a massage therapy business. I sing in an acapella group. I'm involved in the local dance scene. I'm involved in the local folk song and folk singing scene. I'm peripheral to the goth scene. I love my friends. I love babies. Some of my friends have babies.

Interesting how my first instinct in this bio is to define myself by my scenes and context. I hardly feel like I exist without them. I identify as a Slytherin, fiercely loyal and ambitious in seeking the happiness of those I bring into my inner circles. I can be stubborn, compassionate, understanding, creative, reactive, loving, hopeful, productive, sincere, and funny, often at the same time. I also tend to hold onto grudges like they were family heirlooms unless the other party shows a willingness to talk about things.

I want to connect, to reconnect, to engage with the world around me in real ways that feel real. Hopefully I can do a little bit of that here.
